Welcome to my website! I am a Ph.D. student in the Bradley Department of Electrical Engineering at Virginia Tech.

I am an engineer and a researcher with a passion to accelerate the transition toward a sustainable future. My efforts as an electrical engineer are directed toward making electric transportation more reliable, and the power transmission/distribution system more resilient.

About Me

I have received my B.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran in 2018, and my M.Sc. degree from Virginia Tech in 2020 both in electrical engineering. I am currently working toward my Ph.D. in the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. My research interests include high voltage engineering, dielectrics, and electrical insulation, Multiphysics modeling, and transmission line design. I have also worked on optimization and planning for the resilient power grid.
